Co-bodying is a process described by Stanley Keleman as a relational shaping of embodied experience. This process begins in the first week of gestation with implantation. A true sharing of bodies in which the embryo’s form develops from the generosity of mother’s continual nourishment and connection. After birth, co-bodying continues to support the forming of the infant, taking on a variety of bonding shapes precisely attuned to the developmental stages of the growing person. In the therapeutic process, the individual continues to thrive on being seen and heard and mirrored precisely, one of the greatest of gifts that we can give to each other. This is the relational and resonant field which evolves along with each of us throughout our lifetime. In this seminar, we will focus on the specialized formative skills involved in therapeutic co-bodying, which are relevant to all Craniosacral and somatic practitioners and educators. Participants can expect to learn a number of additional perspectives and procedures for their professional practices. Come and benefit from Jim Feil’s extensive clinical and teaching experience!
Can be attended in London or online. Online participants are able to participate in all practice sessions, and receive full support. Video recordings will be available for review.
