ESSENTIALS OF BIODYNAMIC CRANIOSACRAL THERAPY IN PERSON OR ONLINE
* 1ST – 2nd MARCH 2025 *
WITH MICHAEL KERN B.C.S.T., D.O., A.B.D, N.D
This weekend seminar provides an in-depth introduction to Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy and is open to all. It is intended for those who wish to learn some of the fundamental principles of this gentle and powerful therapy. It is a great opportunity to learn from a pioneering teacher who remains at the cutting edge of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training, with over 35 years of experience. We will look at different aspects of the ‘primary respiratory system’, learn how to develop sensitivity to the subtle rhythms of the body, and explore some principles of treatment. The emphasis is on practical sessions, helping participants to experience the effectiveness of this practice. The weekend provides a great taster of our cutting-edge training, and is an opportunity to learn some new skills and perspectives!
For those interested in further studies it provides an opportunity to experience our teaching approaches and visit our school before entering into a full professional training … and if you enrol on our Craniosacral Therapy Practitioner Training the fee for the Introductory Weekend will be deducted, making it completely free!
Online participants will be sent a Zoom link and a schedule of timings, so they can participate in the practical sessions with volunteer clients at home at the same time as participants attending in-person. All participants will receive great tutor support and feedback.

FEEDBACK FROM PARTICIPANTS ON RECENT INTRODUCTORY WEEKENDS:
I feel that we covered a lot, but there was enough time and space to deepen the understanding. The presentation was very clear and I appreciated the different ways of explaining, and patience when I did not understand straight away. After having received sessions, it was very good to have the opportunity to be the facilitator. Thank you Michael, you are a wonderful teacher. – CR
The content was very good, with a nice build up of information and a nice balance of theory and practice. This weekend has deepened my consciousness and awareness, broadened my vision and brought more awareness about touch. The venue has a beautiful light atmosphere. – CS
The content was very interesting and perfect for an Intro Weekend. It gave me more in-depth feedback about how to get in touch with stillness. – SL
The content was fascinating and mind-blowing. It gave an excellent outline of the philosophy and potential of BCST, and the practical sessions were really helpful in refining touch. – LH
Very interesting. Very good, Very good. Very good. – NK
I found the content to be intelligent and grounded, very inspiring, accessible. I felt that I and everyone who took part was welcomed to ask every question and that each question and questioner was treated with respect. Michael’s knowledge is clearly deep. It’s wonderful to see a teacher who can take complex information and break it down so that beginners can understand.
It helped me grasp that something that is so natural to me (and others, if they let themselves get quiet) isn’t something I imagine. I know that healing is not only possible, but always present and it was incredible to see that it has a replicable nature, which indicates its potency as well as its material reality. Not so woo-woo at all. – ED
Lots of content and incredibly enlightening and inspiring. The presentation was fantastic. Michael is a gifted teacher. It has helped make it all more tangible and feels like a good overview on how to approach feeling, understanding and working with this therapy. Many things Michael said confirmed why I am feeling drawn to this practice. I have very much been feeling how this need to want to heal people is not entirely but partly an expression of finally wanting to heal myself, or recognising there may be something to heal. – HL
Very inspiring – Michael is a great speaker. Diverse content which comes together and gives a clear and interesting overview of what is Craniosacral Therapy. Great mix of learning and practice – I learnt more than I thought I would! – OB
Just the right amount of theory and practical and the principles of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy to start a good understanding of the therapy. Good rhythm and speed. I really like Michael’s ability to explain and adapt to each person. – MS
Very good, relevant, diverse and with integrity. The presentation was really good. This weekend has supported my understanding and experience of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy in every possible way. – LR
Excellent! I understand more about how Craniosacral Therapy works and some of the skills. – TG
Very comprehensive, very knowledgeable, really excellent foundation of principles. – BD
