EMERGENCY FIRST AID AT WORK COURSE

* SATURDAY 19TH OCTOBER 2024 *

This in-person course is open to all and provides an interactive and engaging approach to learning First Aid.
 
It will equip you to deal with most emergency first aid situations. The syllabus covers CPR, unconsciousness, choking, bleeding, shock, minor injuries and more.
 
Participants will be awarded a First Aid certificate that is valid for three years. A current First Aid certificate is a requirement for registration with most UK therapy associations.
 
Course tutor:
Damon Birch is a First Aider with 45 years’ experience, as well as a public speaker and computer programmer. He completed his initial First Aid At Work course when he was only 14, and he used to compete in first aid competitions. He was a member of St John and was qualified up to Ambulance Technician level, and was also teaching for St John Ambulance for many years. He became an independent First Aid trainer in 2018, and has also been teaching First Aid for Mental Health and a range of health and safety subjects. He loves teaching and has great skills to explain things in ways that are easily understood.

From 10:00am-5.30pm.
 
Cost:

£140 if payment is received by 1st September 2024, or £165 if received after this date.
