* NOVEMBER 10TH - 13TH 2011 *

Stillness is at the heart of the healing process. In the same way that eskimos have many words for “snow”, craniosacral practitioners describe many types of stillness. This seminar will explore different levels of stillness, and find ways to make these part of our cellular experience. We will focus on letting go, letting things be and finding space. There will be ample time for table work, reflection and meditation.

Areas explored will include:

  • the midline as an organising fulcrum, connecting polarities and paradoxes
  • the stillness of the midline
  • the embryological origins of our blueprint for health
  • fluid and potency as tensile fields
  • deepening into the wholistic shift/’patient neutral’
  • states of fluid balance and the automatic shifting of potency
  • the role of stillpoints in recharging the ‘battery fluid’
  • CV4 and EV4 revisited
  • the seven levels of stillpoint
  • co-operating with priorities of the patient's primary respiratory system
  • CV3 and EV3 and ignition at the third ventricle
  • Big Potency and little potency, transmutation and embodied forces
  • orienting to wider field phenomena
  • trusting the Tide as a dynamic reality
  • offering things up
  • orienting to ‘rhythmic balanced interchange’
  • orienting to the BIG stillness - Dynamic Stillness.
